Samuel Mullenax is multimedia artist based in Lansing, MI, with his two orange cats; Norman Rockwell and Rhaenyra (see below). While working as a barista at Blue Owl and an intern for the College of Arts & Letters Excel Network, he is studying Interdisciplinary Humanities with concentrations in LGBTQ+ & Sexuality Studies, Arts & Cultural Management, and Studio Art with a graduation planned in December of 2026.

Additionally, he is a student at Lansing Community College currently completing the required courses to enter the ASL Interpreting program. Proceeding after graduation he has hopes of working for a non-profit or museum, and is eager to apply his studies to helping his community and supporting local art and artists. Currently, he is looking for connections or opportunities for growth and professional development within the arts and non-profit sectors.
